Treating with laser to cure bad breath.
For people who brush their teeth and rinse your mouth can not fight bad breath, he reached a settlement of the hands of an Israeli scientist, who developed a laser treatment to combat halitosis. Yehuda Finkelstein of Meir Hospital at the Sapir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, Israel has successfully treated 53 patients suffering from bad breath, with a new technique whose application lasts only 15 minutes. "Now there is a method of laser to one of the worst forms of halitosis, a rarely diagnosed version that floats tirelessly since the tonsils," Finkelstein said in an article published by the magazine New Scientist. Bad breath is usually caused by the accumulation of bacteria in the gums around the teeth, but in more serious cases, the bacteria is hosted and played in streaks of the tonsils. "It's the perfect place for them (the bacteria)," said Finkelstein to the weekly science journal. The laser treatment reaches the infected tissue in the tonsils and creates scar tissue that sealed a stretch, preventing the bacteria reproduce and stay there. More than half of the patients were cured in one session of treatment, while others required two or three additional sessions, according to the magazine.
