The Purpose Of Periodontal Surgery Is To Save Natural Teeth
Why do you need periodontal surgery? There a lot of reasons for that and one of them is to be able to regenerate or regrow gum tissue so that you can save your natural teeth. If gum disease remains untreated, there will be a destruction of the gum and bone attachment to the teeth. Infections in the gums may result once plaque has already moved down to the roots of teeth, causing a more serious damage to the bone that supports the teeth. Gradually, teeth may become loose and tooth loss may occur. Because we all are prone to gum disease which is a chronic condition that causes tooth loss and affects overall health, we should always be in constant and careful attention to keep periodontal health safe with proper oral care.
