Inserting the permanent tooth crown.
On the second visit to the dentist removes the temporary crown and verify the seat and the color of the permanent tooth crown. If everything is ok, is under local anesthesia, the new crown permanently in the right place cemented.
Temporary crowns
Because temporary crowns bridge the time until the permanent crown is ready, they make sense. Since the load is not identical, most dentists suggest that some precautions observed when a temporary crown bears:
* Prevent sticky, tough foods (such as caramel).
* Avoid hard foods (such as raw vegetables).
* Carefully chew.
