Other causes of bad breath include some ailments such as diabetes, malfunction of the liver, lung and respiratory diseases, (sinusitis, inflammation of tonsils, pneumonia or deviation from the wall), kidney disorders, gastritis, colitis, ulcers, regurgitation or reflux of food from the stomach into the esophagus. In addition, there are chronic cases arising from local disturbances, the most common is when someone has tonsil crypts with, that is, small openings that accumulate in the remains of food that often fall into a state of decomposition.
